For three years, Redinter reaffirms its commitment to education and health through the Kusi Warma project.
In partnership with ADRA PERÚ and the Universidad Peruana Unión, Juliaca campus, since 2022 we have been working in the communities of Caminaca and Caracoto in Puno, Peru, with the following objectives: to reduce the prevalence of anemia, improve reading comprehension, and strengthen family communication among children in early childhood and primary education, beneficiaries of the project.
Target population for 2024:
84 children.
61 families.
8 teachers.
5 health promoters.
Results:
Reduction in anemia: 97% of beneficiary children complete the project with normal hemoglobin levels at the end of treatment.
Optimization of reading comprehension: 100% of beneficiary children completed the project with an acceptable level of reading comprehension.
Strengthening family communication: 80% of families completed the project with positive indicators of family functioning.
