- The concession called Transmisora Eléctrica del Sur 4 (TESUR 4) will connect 128 km of transmission lines linking Tintaya Nueva, Cusco, with Pumiri, Puno.
- Redinter Perú, a Redeia group company, oversaw the design and construction of the line, where it will also operate and carry out the respective maintenance.
Redinter in Peru, guaranteed on January 14 the Commercial Commissioning (POC) of the 220 kV Tintaya Nueva-Pumiri Transmission Line project, through the concession of Transmisora Eléctrica del Sur 4 S.A.C (TESUR 4).
This project connects the Tintaya Nueva substations, in Cusco, and Pumiri, in Puno, with an extension of 128 km of circuit lines. The work was carried out thanks to the efforts of the different areas that make up the company, following and complying with legal regulations and socio-environmental standards.
The concession is made up of 301 220 Kv transmission towers, following a process that began with the creation of a special base to carry the towers, giving rise to the assembly of the structure and, finally, culminated in the assembly of the cables to begin connecting electrical power.
